Just what I need...another hobby
I have only been looking around for about a week now, but i like what I see so far.
I am fairly new to the bike scene, but have been wanting to get a decent bike for a while in order to make getting to school a little easier.
Right now I'm going to college in Rolla, MO for mechanical engineering and just bought a 1987 Trek 400 Elance off craigslist as a project bike.
I will be back plenty for help as I upgrade and repair my new toy.

Hi spwz99, come on over to Classic & Vintage, and let the experts help you with the Elance. Some photos would be very nice, too!

Hey spzw99, glad to see you here and welcome. C & V is the place to be for your Elance; I've got an '86 Elance 400 and it's one of the nicer early Treks there is.
