Newb from USA! (Charleston, SC)

Hello there! I'm new on the site, and still somewhat new to cycling seriously. My old Raleigh hybrid is my sturdy war-tested primary means of transportation. I am mostly an urban rider though, the longest single trip I've had is only about 25 miles roundtrip, but no day passes that I don't get in at least 5 (simple commute to work). Looking forward to learning as much as possible!

Welcome to the Forum. Last March I went to a meeting at the Isle of Palms and it got into the 70's and maybe up to 80; that was memorable for me here in Boston since we're usually still in the 30's. I rented a bike to ride but all I could get was a rusty beach cruiser, which still gave me a nice work-out and a way to get around to see the sights as only a bicyclist can.
