Ciao da Italia
Hey guys,
this is Michele from Italy.
Ive been surfing this forum for a while so I thought I'd join in!
As I said Im from Italy, exactly from north-east, in Vicenza, where Campagnolo and many other cycling brands are.
I do cycling from something like 10 years, and from 8 Im racing; I started with a couple of Granfondo each year, and nowdays I mix them up with some circuits/kermesse.
My bike would be a Canyon but right now it has not been built up (waiting for groupset to arrive..), so using my old custom alloy bike.
Here a pic of me during one my short holiday in south Spain, near Calpe/Benidorm for those who are used to the area.
Hope to get in touch with many new friends and if anyone need advices/info about Italy or racing in Italy just lemme know.

Ciao Michele, como va? Dice "ciao" a Pippo per mi! (ha ha)
I've been fortunate enough to visit Italy several times, including Bergamo to see the finish of the Giro di Lombardia, when it used to end in that city. I'm envious, as northern Italy is such a beautiful region for riding! I had hoped to do a Gran Fondo ride at Monte Grappa last year, but finances put those plans on hold for a while.
I hope you enjoy the forums. Please be sure to post more riding pictures in the Road Cycling forum, so that we can live vicariously through you! You might enjoy some of the threads that botto has posted on the Gran Fondo Marco Pantani, and the Maratona dles Dolomites.

Ciao Michelle
Welcome to Bike Forums.
I spent 2 weeks in Milano last summer and absolutely fell in love with your country even though
I didn't get to see much of it.
I hope you post a lot of photos and do tell us about your racing.

Thanks a lot for the welcoming!
@HigherGround; funny enough I was in Bergamo too last time they arrived there with Giro di Lombardia, that year when Michele Bartoli won, when he was still wearing Fassa Bortolo jersey.
You know what, MonteGrappa GF is located very close to my place, something like 30-50mins by car, and honestly there are many other better events!
@lotek; glad to hear you liked Italy but trust me there are many other nicer places for cyclists than Milano area!
