Jack

Hi. I am Jack from Virginia and am new to the Bike Forums. I ride for exercise, sun, fresh air and fun. Mostly I ride a fairly new Trek MB and an old Schwinn Prelude. I am mechanically challenged and from these forums I hope to learn a bit about the machinery that I am abusing. So far, I like what I see.

Hello fellow Virginians. I am located in Farmville, about 70 miles west of Richmond. This is a rural part of Virginia so we have a fairly good variety of rides possible from rails to trails, forest roads, reasonably peaceful residential streets, and paved country roads... pretty much what ever you might want. Recently I signed to ride in the June 6 Virginia Bike MS from Richmond to Williamsburg and back. Will be riding with the Dahlgren Bullets. Recently, the weather has not been so friendly... too cold and windy... but still I try to get out for an hour or so several times a week. For me, this is challenging when it is below 50 degrees. So now, eagerly looking forward to spring.

Yeah, I have heard of it. I think it came through this part of the state a few years back. I have not ridden it. Where does one get the information?
