Commuter on an old Peugeot...

Hey there. I joined bikeforums to actually find out about a bike I've been riding off and on for the past three years. I grew up riding a cool little bianchi dirt bike. Then switched to a p.o.s. Fisher Houkoueekoo 2. Still have it sitting in my parents basement. Death Trap! Chain suck nearly ate through one whole wall of the chainstay. Didn't really bike for more than a decade. Living in different places, etc... Then moved to Vancouver Island where I friend set me up with a bike that was going to get thrown in the trash from an over cluttered apartment building basement. Rode it for a while then put it away for driving. Eventually got back on it due to financial reasons more than anything. Learned how to completely tune it up, repacking hubs, truing, all the things I wished I'd known about my Fisher. Anyways, Finally got back on the bike in the last 8 months and for some reason got curious about my bike. Now I'm trying to figure out whether I lucked into a Peugeot PX10 or whether I just have a very fast old Peugeot. Will post pictures soon in the classics forum. Thanks, PX10 Curious.

Looks like you already got your answer in the Classics Forum. Nice bike with a bit of TLC. However it doesn't really matter what type of bike you've got when you live on Vancouver Island. Even a ride on a junker would be amazing! I have an uncle who lives in Nanaimo. Absolutely beautiful landscapes.
