Hello all,
I'm a newbie here but not new to 'cycling. I've been back riding for about a year after a 6 or 7 year layoff due to my wife's cancer treatments and, thankfully recovery. Live in Maryville, Tennessee within sight of the Smoky Mountains. Great riding country (if you don't mind an occasional redneck in a pickup). Ride a Trek 7.2 FX and my newly purchased Cannondale CAAD9 R6. I'm 66 so I'll definitely be subscribing to the 50+ forum. Great info here!

Welcome to BF.
Good to hear about your wife's recovery.
Stop by the Southeast Regional subforum and say hello to the locals.
Got pics of the Cannondale?
You'll see me in the 50+ forum (I'm 64) and lots of other forums too.

Welcome to BF.

RonH,
Thanks. I'll check it out. Here's my Cannondale (pic). I'm planning on doing the "Ride to Conquer Cancer" from Louisville to Lexington and back in September.

It's great having you here, and it's really nice that your wife is here to watch you on your ride .

Good luck with the ride (oh, and if you need donations, don't forget to post a link to your donations page in your signature).
