After getting about 40 lbs overweight I have decided to get back into cycling after 6 years or so. Have lost 25 lbs so far without riding as much as I want to but it's easy to lose some weight due to bad eating and drinking habits. I have a Trek 7000 MB and a Trek 1200 road bike and have been riding the MB on gravel roads because of the less danger and nicer hills but I miss the speed of the road. Might be time to take the road bike in for a tune up and give that a try also. I enjoy reading about peoples weight losss and training methods on these forums as it bring backs a lot of things I have read in the past plus many new things I don't know about yet. I'm rambling so looking forward to posting and reading on these forums.
