Hi To All

A retired guy, with only one long ride in of a couple of years ago (South Dakota to Anchorage Alaska). Lots of fun and I was the youngest! To early to road ride here in Anchorage and still using the X-country skiis. However, the season is right around the corner. This is a great forum!

Hi Bill! What are the roads looking like in Anchorage at the moment?

What are you riding, too?

Welcome to BikeForums .

Ah, the roads and trails: Last night 5 inches of new snow so fairly unridable. Still good for the skiis. However it will not be too long.

My rodie is a Colnago titanium. My cross country bike is a mid 80's? Miyata with 26" wheels. Redid the gear train on it so it was appropriate for the trip.

Thanks for the welcome.

Bill...

Both your bikes sound lovely! I still have not seen my Colnago in the flesh . I'll be picking it up early in April, when I head down to Northern California to ride in the Cinderella Classic.

(It's not titanium, though).
