LA to Columbus OH

I moved this past year from Los Angeles California to Columbus Ohio for a couple years. I am trying to find great places to ride and hopefully some people to ride with.

So, I'm a (marathon) runner who has been venturing out into road cycling over the past year. I am training for a 200 mile bike tour (TOSRV) in May and am also training for a sprint tri in August.

The streets of Columbus are super unfriendly to cyclists. I find myself riding 25mph sometimes and drivers still cut me off. Are there ANY bike lanes here?

Looking forward to gleaning from the discussions and seasoned cyclists here on the forum. =)

Visit the regional forums and ask the locals about their crafty ways of getting around the mean Columbus streets.
