Sand is not a bike's friend. Gets into every nook and cranny. You'll be doing some serious cleaning and maintenance on that bike while you're there. Speaking of which, stay safe and welcome to Bike Forums. Very cool to have someone posting from Iraq.

Welcome to the Forums. That LHT is a nice bike. Are you in the military?

Stay safe out there! The sand will probably ruin that poor bike, but enjoy your rides.

Welcome to BikeForums .

Welcome and be safe. What part of PA do you come from? Hope you like BLACK AND GOLD. If not
that's OK. Enjoy your ridin'.

Stay safe and come home to ride that sweet LHT.

And thank you for serving, my family and I appreciate your sacrifice.
