Hi

Hello My name is Mike and I am 45 years old and trying to get back into riding bikes after about ten years of off and on casual riding capped off by about 4 years of very bad health and weight gain. So now I have purchased a new MTB which I am converting for road use as I feel that at My current weight I would destroy most road bikes. I got rid of My old MTB a 91 Schwinn aluminum. I found that I liked My old bike more than I thought once I started looking for a new one. My new ride is an 08 24" Giant Yukon which is now getting a non suspension fork, high pressure tires and slightly wider handlebars along with a nose less saddle. So far I am quite happy with the bike for now though later I am sure I will be changing out and upgrading other parts as soon as I gain confidence in the platform.

Out fishing with Annie on his lap, a cigar in one hand and a ginger ale in the other, watching the sunset.
