I'm from Minnesota and I ride a recumbent Bacchetta Giro 26. I ride at about 14 MPH average when I push myself. otherwise it's more like 12 MPH. I'm not a racer. My longest ride was 65 mi , but mostly I ride 20 or 30 mile jaunts, two or three times per week with the Twin Cities Bike Club. I read alot about endurance nutrition on the Hammer Nutrition site and use supplemnents to keep me riding strong.
