Hi Everyone
Hi,
I'm a 28 year old senior at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus majoring in US history and pottery. I got into biking last year when I moved to Minneapolis. My first bike was a Giant Cypress that I sold on craigslist 3 weeks after I bought it. It was too heavy. After that I moved on to a 2007 Specialized Globe Sport I bought off of craigslist. I'm riding that now but I'm in the process of doing my first bike build or two. I'm currently building a 1970ish Mossberg road bike, found at the family farm sitting next to the barn, with components I got off of a 1984 Schwinn World Sport for a friend. Then I'm going to build the Schwinn up into a single speed with used parts from my LBS. Any advice on these projects would be great.
By the way, I found this forum by finding the scans of the 1980-1990 Schwinn catalogs. Which was how I typed the world sport.
