hello everyone Duane here from Tysons Va im not sure how this works but i have a 1998 lemond alpe de huez and i think it was made by trek anyway does anyone know if the head tube is i inch or 1/18 diameter

Headset

If it has what looks like a nut around the top of the headset, and if the stem looks like a '7' shape (rotated a bit, probably) it's probably threaded - so 1". If the stem is separate from the steerer tube and is clamped on, with some spacers under it it's threadless, so 1 1/8".

Or you could always try measuring it :-)
