Hello new forum friends,

I'm a fresh-from-the-womb, wet-behind-the-ears noob from Mid-Missouri who is looking to gain a lot of cycling wisdom from you veterans. I quit smoking just over 2 months ago, and at first I was looking for a cross-training activity for my non-running days. However, when got on the bike, I felt like I was 8 years old again, and discovered it was much more fun than running. I'm looking forward to getting the other side of my legs in shape and maybe exploring places you can't get to by car. Also, I think my jeep looks so much cooler with a bike rack on the spare tire!
