Hello from central Ohio!
Hi, This is really a great site. I've lurked here for a while and have learned alot. I decided to register so I can post questions.
My philosophy of bicycles is to ride whatever works for you, popular conventions be ****ed!! I appreciate the latest carbon technology, 30 speed mind-reading shifters, etc. etc. but I also appreciate electro-forged Schwinn's, usable gears and handlebar baskets.
My bike interests are varied, ranging from unicycles, to homeade/modifieds to mountain bikes to road bikes. I especially like Schwinn Paramounts.
I ride mostly to get into shape. (and to play with my toys!) I ride a fixed gear Carabela (saved from the dumpster) a '73 Schwinn coaster brake, and I am trying to restore and build up a '93 Paramount OS that I just got. I hope to achieve a level of fitness that will enable me to complete next year's TOSRV.
