Hello from Hot Lanta (Atlanta)

Hello to all! I am a bike commuter (along with our local mass transit MARTA). I just got back into biking after way too many years off. Started commuting this spring for health reasons and things are going great (blood sugar is way down!). Only one bike now, a Marin Coastal Trail. (donated the old one to a group collecting bike for working people in Central America). I have a good friend who will probably give me his old Trek road bike (hardly used early 80's model). Take care and happy biking!

Welcome from a former bike commuter (unemployed again ) in Decatur.
Good luck with setting up the 80s Trek.

Yes, the morning ride in with the heat index in the upper 80's is great. I am a native Atlantan; we'll have this kind of weather till September if we are lucky, or October if we aren't.
