Hello from the Twin Cities, Minnesota USA
Hi all,
I'm Jackie from the Twin Cities Metro Area. I enjoy my Bianchi hybrid bike a lot and bike three of four seasons here. I commute to work about twice per week (24 miles RT) and enjoying riding the many paved and unpaved trails in and around southern Minnesota. I'm thinking about getting a road bike soon (nothing too expensive; just something a bit faster for the commute) and am leaning towards a decent used road bike, as the new ones are a bit out of my price range (which is $350 and under).
I'm looking forward to participating on the forums, but for now I'll probably read a lot more than post, because I have a lot to learn about bikes.

Welcome, I lived near Lake Calhoun a few years back, one of my fondest memories was getting stuck behind a pink bikini wearing brunette roller blader on the lake multi user path there.
