Back on two wheels in Philadelphia area
Hello from a newbie (after years off a bicycle). I've recently obtained a GT ZR 5.0 and hope to use it on upcoming 50 to 100 miles fund-raiser rides. I rode a 70's Fuji S-10S road racer until after graduate school in the mid 80's, including a nice ride from Philly to NH, but switched to powered 2-wheel (motorcycle) commuting for the last 10 years. I'm just getting back into human-powered movement as part of a weight loss program, having dropped 13 pounds over the last 17 weeks -- now, I'm down to under 160 lbs! Figured riding is better on my knees and 48 year old bones than running. Nice to know this forum exists for all my questions.
