Hello from Seattle!
Just want to say I have always loved biking. I'm 21 and am a student at the University of Washington majoring in Environmental Science Resources Management in Sustainable Forest Management. I have had my 2000 Univega DS-700 for 9 years now and am just now having to replace some things on it, but still works for everyday riding. I rode in the tour-de-cure two years ago and went 50 miles...it was fun.
I had my left hip resurfaced in October 08' and just started riding again a month ago. My doctor says cycling is a great physical therapy for it.
Talk to you later,
The Improbable Bulk
Seattle's U District is close to my old stomping grounds (about 45 years ago I lived in the Fremont area), but now I find myself on the east coast. He wasn't there at the time, but I like to visit the troll when I am back in the area now...
