As if anyone cares...

I know people hardly read these things but... I'm a British guy but currently in Tokyo and moving to Kingston, Ontario in September. I have, how many, erm... 4 complete bikes right now, a Blue 4AL roadie, an old Planet-X Kaffenback do-it-all, a lovely Titus Motolite FS XC rig, and a Brompton folder. I have also just bought a cheap gas-pipe single-speed thing for training whilst I am over here in Japan. Oh, and enough bits to build an icebike for the Ontario winters - which will be project number 1 when I get there.

Other than that, I'm an academic in my late 30s. Read and write a lot and love cinema, growing my own food and cooking. I also canoe. Oh, and I am very much a grimpeur, which will make Ontario a bit like a cycling purgatory for me, but I am determined to enjoy it nevertheless!
