Hello all from Southeast Michigan...

Hi, everyone, my name is Johnny, but everyone calls me L.J. which stands for Little John. I guess it was fitting when I was 3 months old, not so much anymore. I'm just getting back into riding regularly, again. When I was in middle school-high school, I used to ride with my dad and brother a lot, but hadn't done much until recently. I just picked up a Gary Fisher Pirahna last week and have been riding like crazy for the last week and a half.

I've been checking out the site for the past couple of days and decided today was as good as any day to sign up. It looks like I have quite a bit to learn from you guys.

Hi LJK004

Welcome to the Forums. I'm a native of the East Side of Detroit, and lived in Ann Arbor and learned to appreciate the cycling lifestyle there in the 1970's, so I always like to say Hi to Michigan cyclists. I note you post from Macomb county. Most of my family resides there now, so we visit frequently and that's where I ride; we stay in Fraser.

I was mostly a cycle tourist for a long time, including in Michigan and Ontario, and now I'm a a year round commuter and occasional centurian here in Boston. What kind of riding, and where, do you do?
