Hello from Massachusetts

I hauled out my classic Dave Scott Ironman road bike to see if it still worked and it does! I have not been on the bike since the early 90's. I have to go through the bike and lube it up but that's it. Everything works just like it did when I bought it new. I need to start exercising again 'cause my five year old wants to bike more and more now.

Here's a picture from today:

Hi Eric,

Welcome to the Forums. I'm a year round commuter from Kenmore Square to Norwood, and an occasional centurian. I train all around the metro Boston area. I think you'll find there is a pretty large and vocal Boston and Mass contingent on the Forums. Where are you from and what kind of ridng do you do?

BTW, the link to your photo doesn't show up in the post though it does appear in the message box.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm just getting back into riding. It's been way to long and I need to start riding again. My five year old is one of the reasons for riding again. I have a basic mountain bike and my road bike. I love to ride the mtn bike but have not been on the road bike for years... I live in on the south shore in Marshfield.

Welcome!

You may want to share your picture in the Classic & Vintage forum. I used to own an IronMan, and I know several there have, and enjoy them.
