New to The Forums, not to cycling...

I've been riding for about 40 years, primarily for recreation and bicycle touring. I've been on 9 tours in various parts of the planet -- it's the only way to travel!

I recently had to switch to a recumbent due to a neck problem. My latest steed is an HP Velotechnik Grasshopper FX. It's a folding, short-wheelbase, touring recumbent with under seat steering (USS) and full suspension. I miss being able to stand up on the pedals for the short hills!

Over the years, I've amassed a collection of bicycles and parts that, apparently, I'll never be able to use again, so I'll probably start trying to help out those folks looking for parts in the WTB forum. Anyone for a Maserati MT-4 (upgraded with brakes to full Campy, except for the Weyless pedals)? Yes, Maserati jumped on the bicycling bandwagon back in the 1970's...

Anyway, it's good to be here and I'll try to visit regularly...

Posting in the WTB forum requires a paying membership. However, you could try listing parts for TRADE (no cash EVER) in the Classic & Vintage forum. We have a thread specifically for parts trading.

Thanks for the reminder. With all of the stuff I'm going to have to get rid of, it will probably pay to upgrade in the near future...
