Hello everyone.
Just wanted to say hello since I finally am able to post in here. lol
My name's Jamie, 24, 2 daughters, married and a full time student.
Used to race dual slalom at ETSU in Johnson City,TN, until my bike was stolen (had over $3k invested).
Been 3 years since I've road, but am pretty excited to get back into it!
I almost had a nice Yeti lined up but someone snagged it from me.
I recently was laid off and have nearly exhausted my savings trying to support the family.
So if you here of any really good deals, let me know.
I've been out of it for 3 years so I only need something cheap and quick to get me back in shape. Then I can start dumping $$$ into it and make biking my obsession once again!

So I was C-listin' at the house the other day when I saw a post for a classic Bianchi roadie. So I talked to the owner who happened to be the daughter (Kari) of a really cool cyclist named Steve Hancock. I met up with Steve to look at the bike (now keep in mind if i went skinny I wanted a vintage frame) and loved it. It isn't pretty and it isn't new. You really can't even call it a roadie. Its more like a cyclocross/vintage/commuter. lol But I like it. And I think its just the thing to get me back into shape. I'll be slowly upgrading some things. Namely drivetrain, brakes, stem (if I can), saddle and pedals. And i found a great price on a carbon fork. Though I know jack squat about "skinny" riding. I used to build downhill sleds and DS rockets. Not frail little, lift it with a finger, spandex loving roadies. Haha... So if you have any tips or parts, *hint*, then let me know.

After having a $3k+ bike stolen from me, I've come to appreciate the little things.
Like the feel of a steel frame, and the burn in my thighs.
And i see tons of potential here.
Anyway here's a couple pics.

Not bad for 75 bucks. Going to upgrade the brakes and drivetrain though. Maybe throw a carbon fork on it. Know where I can get a 1" carbon fork on the cheap?
