Hello
Hey guys, my name is Rob and i'm excited to be here on bikeforums.net! I bought a mountain bike last year to help get in better shape and lose weight because I wanted to join the Marine Corps. I had always been just a casual rider, mostly just riding places with friends for fun. a couple of weeks ago I decided to sell the mountain bike (after a bad experience) and get a road bike. After my first ride on my new bike I got bit by the cycling bug and have invested a lot more money and time into it! I absolutely love it, what was just something fun and casual to do a few weeks ago has turned into a full blown obsession and I want to learn as much as possible about biking as possible. Hope to see you all on the forums!!!

Welcome to Bike Forums, Rob. It seems like you have indeed caught the cycling bug - resistance is futile!
What kind of road bike did you get?
