Hi from Henley

Just a little about myself.
I have gotten back into biking during the last three years and most of my riding occurs in southern Ontario.
Trail riding is my first choice but I can be coerced into a good road ride once in awhile as long as the scenery is interesting.
I own a Trek 820, a Norco Storm and my newest aquisition a KHS 004 entry level full suspention.
The Norco is still my favorite ride as I am slowly adjusting to full suspension from hardtail.
I sold my road bike recently but I figure that there are lots more in the store.
I rarely turn down the chance for a ride and have been told that I have tendencies towards
bikeaholism if such a thing exists.
Oh well everyone has there thing.
I am not rich, all bikes purchased were demos at about half price or on sale.
And that's basically my story.

Welcome to the forums. You must be from good ol Port Dalhousie! I was up there for the Lake to Lake race.

No I missed that event and it bummed me out, I broke my wrist practicing the week before.
BUT next year I am there.
Friends told me what I missed and they really rubbed it in.

I wasn't in the race, just there for support. My brother and some friends were in it. Here is a pic of my brothers bike after the race, back at the folks house before it's bath.

Another pic after the wash. I seen some people dunk their bikes in the lake after the race. I don't think it is good for suspension and stuff.

I think not as my local bike shop told me that he has lots of business from power washers as well because they shove the dirt into the bearings. I light hose and wipe the mud off.
One trick I find works is waxing the bike before and the mud just slips right off. It might seem anal but it works really well.
The pics are great. Did they hose down the course in advance?
Are you aware of any events in your area this summer or fall?
Oh Yeh nice wheels.
