New Rider from Milwaukee, WI

I've gotten back into riding this past summer, and am really enjoying do it. I have two bikes my 1998 Raliegh road bike and my new 2009 Trek Fx 7.1. Just got the Trek so I've got to used to it, but it rides real nice. Earlier in the summer I signed up and road in the Miller Lite Ride for the Arts here in Milwaukee, and barely survived a 25 mile ride. Since then I've done a bunch of rides of that distance, and hope to do the 50 mile version next year!

Welcome to Bike Forums. You should have no trouble doing the 50-miler next year if you keep your riding up.

Do you have a photo of your new bike?
