Hey everyone,
Just thought I'd take a second to place an introduction in the forum. I had been researching different bike topics and this site kept popping up, so I figured "why not join the forum?" So I did!
I am a complete amateur when it comes to bicycle maintenance, repair, bike building, racing, etc. I have owned a GMC Denali for a couple years now, and now am trying to use a Schwinn Traveler as a base frame to build a fixed/free track bike out of. Any advice that anyone could offer would be great!

P.S. I actually also have another thread running which is for all of you Schwinn historian fanatics out there: I've been wondering how to tell the age on the Schwinn traveler. I know the badge number (it's on the thread) but I don't know any of the other specs.
