Greetings from Richmond, VA
Hi all. I just purchased a 2010 Specialized Allez so I can get back in shape and shed a few pounds. I've been riding about a week now and the more I ride, the more I want to learn, which is how I can across this forum. So far, I've found it to be very informative and I've enjoyed the encouragement members seem to give one another. I have 86 miles on my bike so far and managed to eek out a little over 23 this morning based on inspiration I've read in some of the threads. Anyway, glad to be here and look forward to more interesting reading!

Welcome to Bike Forums. I also have a Specialized Allez. How do you like yours?

So far so good. My LBS is going to do a tune up after a month's use and I want to see about making sure the gearing is set up right. I have some troubles shifting into the big ring but I don't use it often so it's not a huge deal. Did you see the same thing on yours?

My bike is 4 years old, and I did not have that problem. There are several threads on the 2010 Allez in the Road foum, you might want to check them out.
