    Hello from Luxembourg, Europe

Hello to all on this wonderful Forum. I discovered it as two weeks ago I bought a used racing road bike for little money and I was searching for some information about it.
I found it on this site - so I joined the community.
I ride on a Trek bike and - since I own this steel frame classic - I ride it every free minute. It remembers me my youth
So I start exploring the site - see You here or on the road, some day, anywhere.

Welcome to Bike Forums. How is the riding in Luxembourg? Do you have to deal with a lot of motorists, or is it a more bike-friendly country?

    Hello CbadRider, hello to all,

Well where we live ( in the north of the country ) biking is wonderful. Small roads, little traffic, hills and valleys - sometimes the weather can be a little bit rough.
In fact, we ( my wife and me ) rediscovered cycling one year ago.
We're been into motorcycling, - also side-car as we have kids who are grown up now - for long years, and still do.
One year ago, my wife said to me " I want to have a bicycle". Now that was a "BAD"idea !!!
Since, we bike and bike and bike on every free hour. The last time I was riding a bicycle was more than 30 years ago. I really missed something, shame on me.
We bought two Trek-bikes a year ago, and two weeks ago, I found via the Web a used and classic-frame Paletti road race bike for little money.
It's used but in a pretty good shape, it runs very well and I want to restore it during the long winter months. That's also the reason why I searched the Web to get information about "Paletti" bikes - so I found this beautiful site - and the information I'm looking for.
We're planning to devellop our bicycle "carreer" by building up two Randonneur or World-Traveller bikes, in a short future.
And go for a really big trip in one or two years.
    Greets to all.
