hello from n.texas

I been lurkin the forums since I bought my bike about 2 months ago. Felt xcityd. I commute a few days a week to work 15miles rt and fixin to ride the 25mile ride in the hotter than hell 100 in Wichita Falls TX. I havnt really riden a bike in about 10 years but I'm lovin it now. It use to be a chore but seems relaxing now and I've really been enjoying it with my kids. Still tryin to get the wife to go with us but I'm workin on it.

Hey Otis,

You'll love the HH100. I did the 100k ride last year and had a blast. If you are in the Falls, Texoma Cycling Center is a great shop with very knowledgeable folks.

Take care,
Rick Tillery

PS,

Prines BBQ on 13th Street is a must while you are in town for the HH100.

Best of luck Otis... If you haven' hooked up with the guys from TCC for their free group rides, they are a must. A great group of folks who welcome all skill levels.

Have fun on Saturday, I really wish I could be there.

Welcome, Otis. I'll be doing my first century at the HH100 this weekend too. Is McBride's steak house still downtown (somewhere near 6th and Scott Streets)?
