Hi from a winkly old newbie
Hi, I live in Droitwich Spa, near Worcester in England. It's one claim to fame is that the Pilgrim Father Edward Winslow lived here! I'm a 60 year old swimmer, still competing in Masters events. I rode time-trials when I was a kid but I was never that good. I now limit myself to a mountain bike that I use to supplement pool-time, along witha cross-trainer and weights.
I work as a computer technician in a school. I had hoped to be retiring soon but the credit crunch has put paid to that for the time being.
My reason for posting here is that I am considering either swimming the Channel or riding to Southern Portugal next summer and I don't like cold water.
