Carla from Phoenix
Hi,
This is the first forum I have ever joined. I am not that computer proficient and really much prefer to be outdoors. I started riding on a Schwinn World Sport. I came in last in the El Tour de Tucson so I then realized I had to upgrade my bike. I then graduated at age 51 to a steel Trek 720 which I found on consignment at a bike shop. Absolutely love that bike!!! I rode it for years in 4 MS 150 Houston to Austin rides as well as a week long tour in Washington state. But, to keep up with my friends I had to move up, so now I have a Specialized Roubaix Elite. My husbands and my next big ride is the rails to trails C&O Canal and the Allegheny Trail next May. I'm happy to find this forum. BikerCarla (where is the spellcheck? I couldn't find it)

Hi Carla,
Welcome to Bike Forums.
I also bought a Specialized Roubaix Elite this year. Love it.
Hope you and your husband are getting out early and beating the heat!
