Hello from Central Jersey

Hey, i'm only 15 and I just got into biking at the start of this summer with doing treks all around the central Jersey area. I bike at least three times a week and I enjoy exploring new places and viewing the scenery around me. I've been using a TREK 4500 mountain bike though I only stick with street and never off-road. I do feel a bit out of place using a mountain bike on street and I'm curious if other bikers do the same. I am though currently trying to fix up an old MIYATA One Twelve to use for street.
My current goal and dream is to bike across the country at most before college.

Welcome to Bike Forms. Cycling across country is a great goal, I hope you get the chance to do it!

Check out the Classic & Vintage forum for help on fixing up your old Miyata.
