New from Illinois...BIKE PICS!

Hi All,

I am new here. I have been a road rider since the age of 9 (1979). I was the geeky guy on a 10-spd when everyone else was on a BMX.

I grew up in Scottsdale Arizona and moved to Chicago with my family when I was in college. I started to ride track at that time. I have owned a few bikes...some which I regret selling. I hope I can contribute.

I included a picture of me with Mr. Pinarello last year in Treviso Italy at the factory store. I just bought the Gios frame, and the picture of it is the one the seller provided. I am going to do some work to it. Thanks for looking.

Some of the bikes in my 30 years...I will look for some older pics as well:
San Rensho Track
Tommasini Prestige/Campy
Bianchi (Pantani model)/Campy
Colnago Dream Pista
DeRosa Pista
Carrera Stephen Roche track
Colnago C50/Campy (present)
Pinarello Paris/Campy (present)
Gios Torino Super Record Pista/Campy (present)

Nice bikes and pics...

What kind of wheels are on that first Pinarello??

Seriously, nice wheels, I just prefer more subtle decals.

Welcome to the forum!

Those are Reynold clinchers. I wanted Bora's, but I did not want to deal with Tubulars on a daily basis....they are ok for racing but not for everyday Illinois roads.

Thanks for the kudos!
