hi my names mike, ive been reading alot of posts here and i finally decided i need to start contributing my $0.02....
i live/ride in nassau county, long island but i also spend alot of time riding around north jersey, nyc, fairfield connecticut and boston massachusetts...
ive been riding track bike for a few years, and i love it... im currently riding a fuji track bike, however ive had my eye on the 2004 chrome bianchi pista... lately ive been riding the century rides on long island and nyc rides on the track bike.... i get my kicks from climbing uphills and riding through nyc traffic like a maniac...
i also ride long distances.... ive started planning my cross country tour for summer 2005... (no, i have a cannondale t-700 for bike touring) i will be riding the adventure cycling transamerica trail from virginia to oregan.... solo and self supported... i leave for this at the end of may when my semester is over...
i go spinning when im not cycling (even in the summer) ive gotten alot out of it and i truly believe in the program.. i have found it to help me become a stronger cyclist.... however, i know alot of roadies on here would disagree with me.
anyways, i hope this wasnt too long, im glad i can finally start posting here.
