Bike Forums - Newbie in Nashville

Hi! I'm from Nashville and have recently tried to jump (back) into cycling (after a four year drop off of a one year start). My dad was always really into it, so I've gotten some pretty good hand me downs from him to begin with. Including a Bianchi Giro and a Raleigh Technium.

Recently, I broke my wrist riding and was forced to stop (about a month into getting restarted), so I went on craigslist to find some old projects. I mainly joined to get some insight into these build projects and to gain some pointers on how not to wreck again (had right peddle down on a right turn....I've since learned ummmm...don't do that). This site seems like a wealth of knowledge about cycling, and every thread I've read seems to have friendly helpful people. Hopefully I can be one of them some day!
