Back on a road bike...
Hi, my name is Michael and I'm in the San francisco Bay area. I recently pulled an early 80's road bike out of the trash (Univega Nuovo sport, big frame on it) added a saddle and put air in the tires and rediscovered the joys of skinny tires and light frames after 20 years on a mountain bike (stolen last summer)
way too much info to ingest in one sitting on this forum, but lots and lots of great stuff to (re) learn about cycling.

Welcome Michael ! I read ya, off to a good start. Got a nephew over your way, we talked on the phone just yesterday about bikes and other things. Cool bike, I like the skinny tires remark.
