Hello From The Windy!

Hello all!

I've been lurking here for the past couple weeks and finally gave in because y'all are too great! Used to bike when I was younger and now I'm rekindling the love for it once again. My significant other and I are trying to get into the cycling scene, but nothing to serious.

I really don't know anything about bikes as of now but I'm sure I'll learn a lot over here. Personally for me I'm looking into Road Biking and Fixed/SS which is more of the style of cycling here in Chicago, haha! If you have any newbie tips or suggestions or anything, I would appreciate it a bunch! PM's welcomed! Cheers!

Welcome to Bike Forums, Andrew. You might try asking for recommendations in the Road or Singlespeed/Fixed Gear forums.
