hi
sorry for not replying for so long. just had a busy week
no I have not built an HPV. This is going to be my first practical experience
we are planning to build a pivoting boom front wheel drive recumbent
I had read up on the net that there is a problem of wheel slip in FWD's
we calculated and realized that this should not be a problem on a level road
as I don't have any experience and am making this assumption out of theory
could you actually guide me about this from experience

Welcome to the Forums.
You might get better answers if you posted this question in Recumbents subforum. They have experience if anyone around here. I hope you contribute too and share any findings you came across in your project.
