Greetings From Augusta, GA
Hello everyone, long time listener first time caller...
I actually live in South Carolina, but we are a much smaller town right on the border of Georgia. Anyhow...I started with mountain biking about 4 years ago (300 dollar entry level hardtail) Each summer I tuned it up and cleaned it good before the 3 months of riding I would do. But this year I rode it on trails practically every day. But slowly lost intrest and began reading more on road bikes. So yesterday I purchased my first road bike! A felt F90 for 464 dollars. Man it was great, flying down the bike path at about 25 mph...but something just wasnt right. I always hated my choice in mtb and not going with something more....higher end. So being a good customer, I was allowed to return the felt in exchange for a Giant OCR1. Well after my first 20 miles this afternoon, I'm totally hooked. I really look foward to being part of the forums here and learning as much as I can!
Cliffs Notes: Hi, im a road bike noob.

Welcome! I too am new here and am really excited to start on a new bike! I wish you all the luck! Do you live in Aiken? I have good friends there-- lovely part of the country where you can bike most months of the year. What a great place for a cyclist! I will look forward to reading your posts in the forums!

South Carolina is my adopted state too; I’m not sure if I’ve adopted it, or it’s adopted me.
Glad to here you’re exploring new avenues of cycling. Check out my website https://www.ProdigalChild.net Click on Bicycles for lots of history, pictures, and tech stuff.
