Hi everyone!
I'm Herbster, just getting to the edge of 'fit'. I've been riding bikes for ages but nothing serious. I have a couple of mountain bikes but I decided to join here because I found an old Holdsworth 'Special' someone dumped in the street. I've been doing it up and although it's roadworthy, the previous owner stacked it with 'lovely' shimano indexed 105 levers and a rear derailleur (taken them right off). The rest is original. It wasn't rideable when I found it, but it's a beaut now. I'm very much looking forward to learning tons of stuff from the 'pros'.
