From motorized bike to human-powered one
Been a motorcycle rider since I was 18, though I had a bicycle in the garage for occasional fun. Moved to south Georgia a few years ago and with the warm weather (and onset of middle-aged spread) came a renewed interest in bicycling. I'm 2 miles from work...and already carry my gear in a backpack instead of briefcase. So my New Year's resolution is to put in more peddle time and bike to work at least twice a week. Joined the forum for inspiration. Wish me luck and bon voyage.

Welcome to BF.
Good luck with the bike commuting. What bike are you riding?
Read thru the Commuting forum for inspiration and help. If you don't mind hanging out with the old farts, stop by the 50+ forum. And be sure to stop by the Southeast Regional subforum and say hello to the locals.
