North Eastern MA (and sometimes CT)
Hey all,
I've been riding road bikes since I picked up my Gitane mixte-frame bike on the side of the road for free...ten years ago, which isn't bad considering I'm 23...
I bought my Raleigh (the commuting beast) for $10 a year later, and in '02 I got another set of wheels for my 16th birthday, a Trek 1000.
Been riding the Trek ever since...it's mostly stock but I'm looking to do a few carbon-related improvements sometime this year in preps for doing some racing.
Here's the Trek a couple of months ago:
Here's my bike as of the other week, fresh from the shop:
And here's me...I'm so fast the camera can't keep up!
Here's my Raleigh:
And for gits and shiggles, my favorite spot to rest:
Now, about me! I'm a freelance graphic designer, have owned my own business for 5? years, and also love to take pictures (not always from my phone, contrary to above). I'm also on cycling forums, but there's a ton of spam, and trash-talking and whatever, and I hate the look of the board, so I migrated over here.
Besides being an avid roadie, I'm also a car-nut. I have a Mazda that I work on frequently, as well as a '77 Corvette.
and I also help my dad work on his stang:
Anyway, here are some links to peruse

Welcome to the group.
I also liked the rules for this site, and the fact that moderators seem to be involved. I've also been turned off by other sites, and like this one.
Kind Regards,
Terry
