New Cleveland Biker
Hello fellow bikers,
I am a fairly new to the biking world. My roommate introduced me to biking and I instantly fell in love. I recently sold my car to strictly bike. I ride a fixed gear conversion road bike that was made in the '80s. The brand is Bugatti. It is my first bike (since childhood) and I've done a few things to restore it. I've put a new bottom bracket in it, gave it a fresh paint job, and put a new chain on it.
I'm sure some of you think that fixed gears are not ideal. I actually love it. I was skeptical to switch to fixed gear but now that I have, I can't imagine switching back.
I am planning on biking from Cleveland to Chicago this summer, which is primarily why I joined this site. I would also like to hear as much feedback and learn as much as possible before my trip next summer.
Feel free to PM me anytime with any advice, tips, tricks, etc. I would gladly appreciate it.
