Introducing~~~

Hello All~
It's been quite awhile since I was so excited about a group agreement. And the best part is....many people who are looking for this body of information and changes in lifestyle...don't even know it yet, but they are looking. This should assure us nearly constant growth and alot've enthusiasm. I fit that description myself.
In the early 70's, long before it was fashionable, I bicycled cross country, back and forth, three times and got to know America and it's great people. The world has changed dramatically, not for the better except technologically, but it's not too late. And I think bicycles are a part of the restoration of humanity....our understanding that we must help one another, not go too fast, and not be so greedy as to consume everything in sight that is left.
For now....I am eagerly here to learn how to build a great e-bike...I need help....but I will stick around to help those who come after me. I thank you all in advance for the generosity I've seen and the sharing of knowledge that came at some expense. It's a wide open field....and I'm very glad to be here. Dan Vaughan

Hey 42 below~ I enjoyed those pics alot...looked like a blast. Only slightly less challenging than sailing trans Atlantic, to keep that many souls happy together though all the conditions, but it looks like you all succeeded. Great.
My first trip began in Vermont, up over the great lakes, down thru Souix St. Marie to the Black Hill (S.D)...to Colorado (made some awesome friends there and hung out awhile) ...to Four Corners...up to Seattle (now it was getting cool)...so again south to the Gulf from Seattle and eastward to Savannah. Flew home from there. The bike (this is in 1973) was a Puegeot PX-10 (there was not so much "stuff" back then.) Upgraded the components and used only rear panniers. Next trips were on a Masi that I also modified, but was very in love with. Anyway...hooray for america tours and to all who really do it. Thanks for the thread and photos~~!!
