Hi from southern England

I'm someone from southern England who once rode to school (6 miles each way) back in the '60s and now have a wife who has taken up receational cycling. Therefore I'm supporting her and considering starting again myself. Her immediate aim is to partake in a four-day charity ride in September and so we are both going through a learning exercise. You never know - I may gain the "bug".

Hi - a Kentfield from the Marin company, but with a "gel" saddle for extra comfort. She is currently at the very early stages of getting used to the bike, and using a bike simulator in the gym to start the fitness campaign. Once she is happier with the bike, then the training will mainly move over to that since I understand that there is nothing beter than training in the real world.
