Hi Everybody
Good Afternoon folks. I'm new to the forum, having lurked for a couple of weeks. Really I just tripped across you all after searching for Hamilton cycling and hitting on the archives.
I'm from Hamilton, ON and commute up and down the escarpment a couple times a week when there's less road salt. I don't mind the cold weather, I just hate cleaning my ride for a couple hours after an hour long ride!
I've done a few charity rides over the last few years, Habitat's Cycle the Circle in '07 and '08 and the Ride to Conquer Cancer last year. This year, I'm taking a break from fundraising and just trying to enjoy the ride. Last year I logged about 5k and am looking to improve on that in quality and quantity.
I am a Clydesdale though.
I have a '93 Hammer which is stock aside from the wheels and prefer the Smoke/Fire tire combo. My road bike is an '07 Davinci Chicane which I got used for Christmas last year and used it for most of my rides in '09.
I look forward to chatting with many of you about the wide world of cycling.
See you 'round.
