Greetings from Toronto...

I'm new to the bike forum (and new to the bike world). I'm in the process of building up a vintage bike. Hoping to learn a bit more about bikes from this forum. I'd like to get motivated and start commuting to work instead of driving. Toronto winters are a challenge, but it's actually been almost snow free so far.

Anyway, hello everyone.

I have an opportunity to buy this Bianchi frame for $200.

What kind of bike do you own? Feel free to post pictures and let me know what you like most about your bike. I'm trying to get a feel for what components I should be looking out for (especially for vintage road bikes).

Thanks 10 Wheels! There are so many forum headings it's hard to find the right place to post sometimes.

Welcome.
Born and raised in TO also.
Check that Columbus sticker on the seat tube.
If it says SL or SLX you're golden. Cromor means you'll spend a lot of money on components for an average bike.
Unless you plan to make it into a fixie, in which case it doesn't matter what it's made from.
